In Q2-2016 I gave them $5K+ to repair a leak in a commercial metal roof and reattach a box gutter that had separated from the building. When I asked why so much, the foreman said the coating materials were expensive (true) and that he used highly skilled laborers (false). I went up on the roof the day they applied the coatings. They were day-laborer slopping the stuff on with thick crude brushes. Their technique was no different or detailed from that of a first-timer or semi-skilled house painter. Needless to say the roof never stopped leaking. They came back and said they tried to find it, but bottom line is the roof leaked every day exactly as it did before they came and here I am one year later and the gutter is hanging off in the same place as before.

Folks have asked me what warranty the company offered and my answer is apparently none. I was told "their word is bond" and I'm embarrassed to say I took them at their word. Lesson learned.

I'm a business owner and so I'm sympathetic to other business owners.
Perhaps they've done good work elsewhere, but I'd be ashamed if I did this to one of my customers.
